Never short of a good idea…

Lost Creator J.J. Abrams, Hollywood golden boy, is admitting writing the hit television series isn’t going to be easy to keep interesting for his host of loyal viewers.

Filmed mostly in Hawaii, now in it’s second season, the storyline is, survivors of a plane crash must fend for food, fend off the unknown others, who also mysteriously inhabit the island, try to unravel what the bunker was designed for and contend with the unknown series of numbers that must be entered continually into a computer that does a countdown with unknown consequences if they fail to do so every ninety minutes.

"I don't know how long we can keep it up," Abrams said, referring to the plot limited by the island confines. He has kept us transfixed with mysterious creatures, flashbacks to and before the plane crash, and most recently to the introduction of other survivors discovered on another part of the island.

"Maybe not as long as the network would want. I'm sure as long as Lost maintains high ratings they are going to want it to stay on," adding, “There's some really cool stuff coming up that I'm really excited about.”

As we wait with baited breath to see what is going to take place, Abrams claims future episodes contain plenty of new twists.

Personally I only watch Lost for the eye-candy. The female cast lineup:
Michelle Rodriguez · Evangeline Lilly · Yoon-jin Kim · Maggie Grace & Emilie de Ravin
