Airing dirty secrets in Supreme Court

When will we ever learn A's dirty little secrets, will J win the whole of E's estate?

It is going to take a ruling by the Supreme Court of the United States to settle a dispute created in God’s own country (that’s according to Texans). I’m referring to the estimated $2.17 US billion estate of J. Howard Marshall II and the former stripper/Playboy Playmate, Anna Nicole Smith.

Yes, A. is pursuing what she feels is justifiably hers, after all, she did put up with an 89-year old man. He died a after their marriage. This feud with E. Pierce Marshall, J’s youngest son and has been simmering on the back burner for the past 11-years.

The results would make an interesting mid-day movie as the theme of this argument is sex, greed and deception.

Observers say the Supreme Court appeared inclined to give A. a piece of her late husband’s oil fortune, somewhere around 1.8 billion for her purse. E. claims that he is the sole heir and A.’s legal fight is as dead as his daddy, because she lost in a Texas probate court. Justices appeared unwilling to buy that argument. E. claims various wills and trusts of his late father prepared over the years made him the only heir. A Texas State Court agreed, finding E. was the sole heir.

It could be that E. never did get to see A.'s ample puppies and just maybe he feels just a little left out. A., a former stripper known for her flashy, cleavage-revealing outfits, watched from back of the court, dressed in black. Her lawyers said she was in tears during part of the argument when justices discussed her late husband. The Justices appeared to tread delicately on that subject matter.

Chief Justice John Roberts said the case involved "a substantial amount of assets," referring to the fortune of A.'s late husband of 14 months (not her cleavage). The estate was estimated at anywhere from $1.6 billion to $2.17 US billion. During their brief marriage, E. showered A. with $8.9 million in gifts that included two homes, $3.8 million in jewellery and $950,699 in clothes, and she contends he also promised her half his estate.

Would J. have forged E.’s last will and testimony? Did A. flash her puppies at bedridden E. just to get a slice of his estate? Was a private detective hired by J. to keep A. away from J.?
